Copyright Amendment Bill passed by the National Assembly

On 29 February 2024, the National Assembly in South Africa passed the Copyright Amendment Bill (Performers Protection Amendment Bill (PPAB). The Bills now await the Presidents assent so they can be passed into law.


Copyright Amendment Bill passed by the NCOP committee

After months of public comment the latest version of the CAB was finally passed by the NCOP Committee.
