REQUEST FOR WRITTEN SUBMISSIONS – COPYRIGHT AMENDMENT BILL AND PERFORMER’S PROTECTION AMENDMENT BILL
The Copyright Amendment Bill [B13D – 2017] and the Performer’s Protection Amendment Bill [B24D- 2016] were referred to the Northern Cape Provincial Legislature from the National Council of Provinces to solicit inputs from all stakeholders on the Bills. The Northern Cape Provincial Legislature thus request input from all stakeholders in the Province on the proposed Bills. Inputs will subsequently be submitted to the National Council of Provinces for consideration in the Bills.
All relevant stakeholders are thus invited to give input in the form of a written submission on the Copyright Amendment Bill [B13D – 2017] and the Performer’s Protection Amendment Bill [B24D-2016].
It would be appreciated if this request could be extended to all relevant stakeholders in the Northern Cape and/or representing bodies for input.
Kindly forward the written submissions to the Committee Coordinator, Ms Zuraida Mitchell, at zmitchell@ncpleg.gov.za on or before Tuesday, 28 February 2023.
